Supplement your science curriculum by joining other home school students in hands-on nature study! Visit the Cypress Swamp and explore nature's nursery! In the springtime, this wetland is home to a variety of insects and amphibians beginning their life. Use field guides, nets and magnifying tools to learn who calls the water their home.
Sessions meet each month on the first and third Monday and Thursday from 1:30-3:00pm. All home school students, ages 6-10 years old are welcome. Fee is per student, and one adult admission is included per registered child. Space is limited, reservations are required.
