The Dawes Arboretum is excited to announce its 2nd Annual Sensory-Friendly Hour Winter Wonders Walk on Thursday, December 11th from 6 pm - 7:30 pm. Enjoy coffee and donuts and a special appearance by Santa Claus! We’ll have smaller crowds, minimal background sounds, and we’ll disable distracting stimuli on our grounds. A sensory kit is included with admission that contains sunglasses and fidget devices will be available in the Visitor Center.  A craft room will be open, and a calming room will be available in the Visitor Center for individuals that may require a quiet space for self-regulation. Registration is required. Members must pre-purchase a ticket online. Tickets will not be sold at the gate. Please arrive during your designated arrival time. The walk is approximately one mile.
