Native Ohio plants are essential to pollinators, local food webs, and ecosystems. Despite high demand for pollinator-friendly flowers and shrubs, many plants native to Ohio are difficult to find and buy locally. Learn how to grow your own native Ohio plants for your garden, and take home a complete winter seed starting kit, in this hands-on workshop in collaboration with Pollinator Pathway. Conservation and horticultural specialists will share best practices and demonstrate a simple “set it and forget it" method to germinate native Ohio seeds –no greenhouse, grow lights or other fancy equipment required!
