Moths can be elusive creatures that mostly come out late at night, but there are some techniques that can help us to get a closer look. Join Chris Kline from Butterfly Ridge Conservation Center, located near Hocking Hills, to learn all about one of the most diverse and plentiful groups of insects in Ohio and use illuminated moth sheets to meet some of the moth species that could be living in your own backyard!

Location: Red Barn Reserve

Accessibility Info: This program will take place in an open grassy area that is accessed by mowed trails. Attendees will be standing for most of the program, but sitting areas will be available. 

Recommended Attire/Supplies: Bug spray is recommended. You may also bring a folding chair if you'd like to sit in the grassy area. Picnic table seating is available under the shelter house.
