Beginner Knitting Workshop

Did you know that Beman Dawes was a knitter and made a sweater for his brother serving in World War I? Join us inside Beman's Study in the Daweswood House Museum and try your hand at this every day hobby that helped to support soldiers fighting in the war. For this workshop, we will be making a scarf, but please bring your own yarn and knitting needles. You will need 2 skeins of worsted weight yarn and size 8 needles.

Program Audience: Ages 14+

Location: Daweswood House Museum

Accessibility Info: There are a few steps to enter the Daweswood House Museum. We will be seated indoors for the duration of this program.

Recommended Attire/Supplies: Please bring your own yarn and knitting needles. You will need 2 skeins of worsted weight yarn and size 8 needles.
