The lives of a staggering number of living organisms, humans included, are intertwined with oak trees. Sigrid Neilsen, author of Native Oaks of the Greater Midwest, along with Arboretum Botanist David Brandenburg team up for a grand celebration of oaks, from antiquity to the 21st century. Participants will get to taste-test modern and ancient foods made from acorns.
